The China Europe Centre for Cultural Innovation (CECCI) attended Rokid Open Day 2026, an ecosystem and developer conference held in Hangzhou on 26 June 2026.
CECCI Chairman Bryson Xue and Council Member Jiaying Liang attended the event at the invitation of Rokid. They joined leading developers from China and overseas, industry leaders and ecosystem partners to witness what organisers described as a significant moment in the new era driven by AI-native operating systems.

At the conference, Rokid launched YodaOS, an AI-native operating system for smart glasses, and introduced the concept of an AIOS designed for AI-native smart glasses.
Misa Zhu, founder and CEO of Rokid, said smart glasses that are lightweight, suitable for all-day wear and capable of multi-modal large-model interaction would become one of the core devices of the AI era.
Rokid’s overseas developer ecosystem is also growing rapidly, with innovative projects already being deployed across multiple scenarios in markets including Japan.

CECCI has long been active in cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world, as well as in international communication. It has closely followed emerging trends in technology-enabled cultural outreach. The Centre said it looked forward to exploring further cooperation in areas including co-creation of cultural content, smart cultural tourism and international communication.
CECCI’s participation in the event was an important step in following the latest developments at the intersection of technology and culture, while also exploring new approaches to innovation in international communication.
CECCI said it would continue to uphold an open and cooperative approach, pay close attention to the application of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence in international cultural exchange, and explore new models for using technology to support cultural outreach. It will also contribute to mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilisations and to cross-cultural dialogue.
